Johnny Bedford, Martial Arts Instructor

Johnny Bedford

Hi my name is Johnny Bedford. I am the Founder and Owner of the Fitness Fight Factory network. I believe that our gym’s calling is to “build people” by making them physically and emotionally stronger. Come see me at our Headquarters location in Watauga, Texas.

I started martial arts and combat sports at the age of five with Wrestling. By the time I was senior I was a 3x state qualifier, a 2x state placer, and during my senior year I finished with a record of 51-1 taking third that year. After my senior year I enrolled and wrestled at Cleveland State University and knew after college I still wanted to compete. I started my amateur mixed martial arts in 2003, after a successful couple of fights I took a year and a half off fighting before being offered my first professional fight in 2006.

In 2011 I competed on the reality show The Ultimate Fighter: Team Bisping vs Team Miller on Spike TV. After the show I made my official UFC debut December 3rd in 2011 on The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale where I won against Ultimate Fighter castmate Louis Gaudinot.

After my career in The UFC I made my entry into Bare Knuckle Boxing in 2018 where now I am the current 135 lb Champion.

I won my first Bare Knuckle fight at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship  June 2, 2018. After my success with my first few Bare Knuckle Fights I decided to enter the BKFC Lightweight tournament where I fought through to the finals on June 22, 2019, where I defeated Reggie Barnett, Jr via unanimous decision to win the BKFC 135lb title and Police Gazette lightweight title.

Currently I am still competing and defending my Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship belt!

I am excited to share the lessons and experiences I have had through my life of combat sports. Come train with me at our headquarters location in Watauga. We look forward to seeing you on the mats.
